About Us
Our company was founded in 1947 in Thessaloniki by Ioannis Ktistakis, focusing on the processing and casting of lead. More specifically, it began with the production of fishing sinkers for fishermen’s nets. Until then, fishermen made their own sinkers by cutting lead pipes. For the first time in Greece, professional sinkers for fishing nets were introduced.

In the years that followed, production expanded to include longline and fishing line sinkers (bottom fishing, trolling, sabiki), covering almost the entire range of needs for both professional and recreational fishermen.
A milestone in the company’s history came in 1967 with the creation of the well-known “bell sinker,” which was patented under Greek Patent No. Δ.Ε. 32331.
Today, the company continues the tradition of its founder and grandfather Ioannis Ktistakis, more than half a century later, operating in a modern 2600 m² industrial facility in the Sindos Industrial Area (V.I.P.E.TH.) of Thessaloniki. Production now includes fishing and diving sinkers for both professional and recreational use, as well as jigs for jigging and spinning, jig heads, downrigger weights, Tenya, and battery terminals and more.
With a strong commitment to customer service and adaptability to market demands, the company offers products of exceptional quality, modern design, and high functionality, fully complying with all safety standards and legal requirements for lead casting and sinker manufacturing.
